🎭💃 Carnival 2026 is Coming to Villanueva de la Concepción! 💃 🎉 Carnival weekend is almost here, and our little village of Villanueva de la Concepción is ready to sparkle! 🥳 🎉 From 20th–22nd February, Plaza Andalucía (and pretty much everywhere else!) will be bursting with music, costumes, laughter and just a little bit of glorious chaos. 🎈 Friday – Let the Fun Begin! Friday starts with the local school children from CEIP Ciudad de Oscua, followed by the Children’s Gala and lots of brilliant local carnival groups taking to the stage. In the evening, it’s time for the official presentation, more performances, and then… a big costume party 💃 💃 💃 with DJ Ramoned keeping everyone dancing until 6am. (Yes, really. Coffee may be required.) YES 6 A.M in the morning 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Saturday – Family, Food & Fancy Dress Saturday is for everyone! Children’s workshops in the morning, free migas at 2pm🥘 🥘 🥘 (come hungry!), music and performances all afternoon, plus traditional games that guarantee plenty of laughs. At night, the adults take centre stage with the big costume competition — prizes for the bold, the brilliant and the downright bonkers — 💃 💃 💃 followed by music from DJ Sergio FM until the early hours. 🎺 Sunday – Parades & Paper Mayhem Sunday is pure colour and community spirit. There’s a children’s parade (with whistles — you have been warned! 😄), paella for lunch,🥘 🥘 🥘 and the main parade finishing in Plaza García Caparrós with the legendary Paper Battle.🎊
