Say “feria” and most people picture elegant ladies in dazzling dresses, flowers in their hair, and men sipping sherry like they’re in a glossy advert. 🤣 Well… in an agricultural village like ours, it’s a little more rustic.🙈🐎 Yes, you’ll spot the odd posh frock, but the real stars are the horses.🐴 Big, small, shiny… and the occasional scruffy one who clearly missed the grooming memo. There’s the legendary Ribbon Race 🎀🏇—imagine musical chairs on horseback with riders clinging on like spaghetti western stuntmen (no hard hats in sight). Then there’s Drink Riding 🍺🏇—beer in one hand, reins in the other! The Blessing of the Horses adds a touch of reverence, while Threshing Demos throw us back to the days of mules, muscle, dust and shouting.🙉 Want competition? Try Slingshot Contests 🪨 (stand well back!) or Clay Pigeon Shooting 🐤, where the winner pockets €400.💰 By night, pubs spill over, music fills the air, kids run wild, and you’ll probably gain at least one new friend (whether you remember or not).🤣 And that’s just the start—add a Tapas Trail, Autos Loco 🚙, motorbike gathering 🏍️, chocolate & meringue party 🍫, jamón tasting 🥩, free paella 🥘, horse shows 🏇, performances and dancing until dawn.💃🌙 It’s noisy, messy, unforgettable—and honestly?
